PingDuo乒乓拍档01 · Scope
This policy applies to PingDuo (乒乓拍档), the iPhone/iPad app provided by individual developer MaoWeiye, with bundle identifier com.weiye.pingduo.
Video decoding, ball tracking, action recognition, rally editing and export run on your device. The developer provides no app backend, cloud video processing or cloud sync. The app does not upload videos, analysis results, usage history or diagnostic information to the developer.
02 · Local video and data
Only videos you choose are imported. The app stores copies, thumbnails, analysis checkpoints, ball trajectories and rally results for playback, editing and export. It does not automatically scan or import your entire Photos library.
The following information remains on your device:
- Video titles and dates, opponent labels you enter, rally boundaries, favorites, exclusions, and highlight selections and order.
- Buddy names or nicknames, copies of avatars you choose, racket and rubber details, notes, and links between buddies and match videos. Time Machine organizes rallies by these local links and dates. It does not access Contacts, create online buddy accounts or send information to buddies.
- Language, display style and timing preferences, and viewing/exposure history used to order your local Hero feed.
- Analysis progress, recovery checkpoints, error states and Photos save receipts; selected Photos asset identifiers, slimming timeline maps, replacement-recovery records and previously slimmed original markers, used to locate originals, check saves and avoid repeated processing.
- Successful free-analysis counts and pending allowance records for this device. Free allowance is not shared between devices.
These records are not used for advertising or automatically sent to the developer. Models ship with the app; analysis does not require sending footage to a remote service.
03 · System permissions

You can change Photos permissions in system Settings. Revoking permission does not automatically delete copies already imported into the app.
Each device has five successful free analyses; failed or cancelled runs do not count. Monthly and yearly memberships provide unlimited on-device analysis during their validity and renew automatically. Offer eligibility, duration, price and renewal after the offer follow Apple’s redemption and purchase screens. Manage or cancel in the App Store. Removing local Apple sign-in information or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. The terms of use are the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
04 · Apple crash reports and TestFlight
The app has no custom automatic diagnostic upload, diagnostic endpoint or third-party crash-collection SDK. Release crash reports use Apple's official channels and system sharing settings. You can adjust the relevant options in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
If you use TestFlight, Apple handles installation and usage information under its rules and automatically shares crash reports with the developer, independently of release analytics-sharing settings. When you choose to send beta feedback, Apple provides your comments, screenshots and relevant diagnostics. Screenshots may include footage or personal information; review them before sending.
Apple's collection, retention and deletion practices are described in the Apple Privacy Policy and TestFlight & Privacy. The developer does not re-upload these reports to a custom service.
05 · Retention, deletion and withdrawal
Projects and analysis records stay on the device until you delete the project or remove the app. Deleting a project removes its app-managed video copy and related analysis data, but not the original in Photos. Deleting a project does not delete separately stored buddy profiles or notes. Deleting a buddy removes their app-managed avatar, profile and notes and unlinks their videos, while keeping the video projects. Global preferences and local markers that prevent processing the same original again may remain. Exported movies are managed separately in Photos and must be deleted there.
Video slimming is an explicit deletion action. After an eligible all-rallies export passes verification, you may replace the app-managed source with the exported movie. Omitted footage will no longer be available to that project, which cannot be reanalyzed or recalibrated. Deleting the Photos original also needs system permission and confirmation. If you deny or cancel system deletion, the Photos original remains, but the in-app replacement may already be complete. Back up important originals before deletion or replacement. Ordinary project deletion is a separate operation.
System-deleted originals normally enter Recently Deleted. With iCloud Photos enabled, deletion may also sync to other devices. Apple manages recovery periods and permanent deletion; see Apple’s Photos deletion guidance. Some passthrough exports retain additional encoded frames near cut points. Editing and slimming are not tools for securely erasing omitted footage.
The device's free-analysis count and optional Apple sign-in identifier are stored in the device Keychain. Signing out does not reset the allowance. Keychain entries may survive uninstalling; device migration and system behavior affect availability. We do not promise that uninstalling resets allowance or that counts carry across devices. Signing out removes the app's saved sign-in identifier; manage Apple's authorization relationship in Apple Account settings.
System backup and restoration depend on your device settings and Apple services. The app provides no separate cloud backup. The developer cannot access or remotely delete projects on your device.
The last three Subscription Connection Check results remain only in device memory for the current app session. If you choose to copy them, the clipboard contains app and system versions, product IDs, storefront, request duration and error codes, without Apple accounts, transaction receipts or videos. Copying does not automatically send them to the developer.
If you choose to email or submit feedback, the developer uses the information only to answer your request, investigate the problem and handle necessary follow-up, then deletes it when no longer needed. Contact the address below to request access, correction or deletion of information the developer controls. Data controlled by Apple, GitHub or your email provider is governed by their own policies.
06 · Privacy policy website
This site displays the privacy policy and contact information on GitHub Pages. It contains no ads, analytics, tracking scripts, external fonts or data-entry forms. It is not a video-processing, account, allowance or diagnostic service for the app.
GitHub may process IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site; see the GitHub Privacy Statement. A contact link opens your email app. The developer receives your message only if you choose to send it.

For support, start with the app version, device model and a description of the problem. Sending a full video is not required. If you choose to share screenshots or footage, check personal information first and ensure you have the right to share it.
The app is not directed at children. Policy updates appear here with a revised date; new data-processing practices will be explained before the relevant feature is enabled.
